Description
This is another one of those records that any one who is an Elvis collector, just hates to part with, but, I no longer have a player for records, and I no longer have a place to display my collection of Elvis, so its time to say, Elvis is slowly leaving my building. This record is from 1954, and it is the SUN LABEL NUMBER 209 - 45 RPM 7 inch record. I can see and actually feel the 3 press markings on it. I had this record in my collection for a lot of years, its been played a lot, but it still plays through nice and clear. It has back ground noises like an old 45 would have, but its not to bad. I have'nt played this record for a long time, so it of course needs to be cleaned. I had it displayed in a SUN dust cover, which it will be sent in, and I had it displayed on my rec. room walls for a lot of years. When I bought it I played it only a couple of times just to hear it, so I know it plays through good. The titles are "BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY" and "THAT'S ALL RIGHT'. The label has some wear and one side has a smaller marking or scribbleing, I think a name was covered over on it. The other side has some light scuffs in the area of the word sun, but not to bad. The vinyl has scuffs and wear on both sides, no deep scratches, so like I said, the record still played through good, but after all this time, give it a good cleaning, and I know it will play real good, with some back ground noise of course, it is'nt new anymore, its well over 50 years old. The trail off reads: U-128-45 - 72 on one side, and U-129 - 45 - 72 on the other side. I am listing it at a fair price, it is one Elvis' rarer 45's. No reserve, so you know exactly where you are at with bidding. I will sandwich it between 1/2 inch styrophome in my package and mail it media, but if you want it mailed priority, please let me know.
