TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to "rogersrecords"----your Ebay site for great conditioned, highly collectible "oldies" records from the '50's and 60's, and more!! I realize I am probably a month late with this listing, but it is such a rare and unusual piece, that I'm hoping the Christmas spirit will still find it desirable----and this IS a real treasure. This ultra rare and highly collectible 1st Elvis Presley Christmas LP is on the original, RCA Label and is entitled "Elvis' Christmas Album"---his very original 1st copy from 1957. This beautifully conditioned album comes with it's original RCA inner sleeve, all the insert pics/pages that accompanied this gatefold covered jacket (still full intact, as well), and features 12 classic Christmas songs by The King himself. The condition of both the gatefold jacket and the vinyl is extremely nice and, in my opinion, very close to perfect, though not quite. Please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, RCA Label, LP 1055, and is in near perfect shape--just a few expected light spindle lines around the center hole. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also very, very clean and nice, with no real serious flaws to report. There are a few light surface/paper lines on each side which have absolutely no effect on the LP's play, and only a slight effect on it's appearance. I just haven't seen many, if any, copies of this LP in overall better shape than this one---really---and I've been doing this record collecting thing for almost 50 years now. So, other than what I've listed above, I believe this LP's vinyl is practically as shiny and clean as the day it was 1st purchased almost 50 years ago. JACKET INFO: The GATEFOLD jacket----with gold print along the spine----is likewise in absolutely excellent shape, with no serious flaws to report at all either. The full size picture booklet that comes with this album is fully intact and truly as nice as the day the album was 1st purchased. The same can pretty much be said for the inner sleeve from RCA, and the GATEFOLD jacket itself. Personally, I've never seen a better conditioned jacket for this album, and I really cannot see anything flawed or negative that's worthy of mentioning here. But, please see the pics below and make your own judgements. INTERESTING FACTS: To me, this entire package looks fantastic----ALMOST as nice as the day it was 1st purchased, but obviously not new. So again, please view all the pictures below and judge for yourself. You just don't see this original Elvis LP out there anymore, and espiecally not in this kind of outstanding condition. So, please have at it. In addition, I have listed other R'n'R LP's/EP's by 50-60's artists----even some rare C&W and movie soundtrack stuff on occasions. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet.
