Description

The one and only release from Embrace, a band who included lead vocalist Ian MacKaye, who would go on to form the incredible Fugazi.


This edition of Embrace is the 1987 original release on Dischord Records. The record has been graded conservatively - it plays without any skips or jumps, with a few surface marks but no deep marks. The sleeve has tears on the spine (pictured) but is otherwise in great condition. A very rare and collectible edition.


BAND BIO: Embrace was a short-lived hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C., which lasted from the summer of 1985 to the spring of 1986. Along with Rites of Spring, and Beefeater, it was one of the mainstay acts of the 1985 Revolution Summer movement, and was one of the first bands to be dubbed in the press as emotional hardcore, though the members had rejected the term since its creation.
