Description
"Opal" by the German "Krautrock"-Institution EMBRYO and their FIRST album at all, released in 1970 on the famous Prog/Psych collector label OHR-Metronome.This here is the GER absolutely ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING, with catnumber 56.003 on BOTH; "Deep-Groove"-Labels&Sleeve. The laminated gatefold cover has also the little door in which the balloon was placed. Vinyl is cleaned with V.P.I. cleaningmachine & audio checked: The heavy record with a lots of surface hairlines and a couple of surface marks, looks just very good-, but plays, except a couple of slight clicks and a few crackeling places pressureful & acceptable very good (vg) throughout. The halflaminated cover shows stronger general wear of using and age, but is without writing and WITHOUT cut-hole. (vg,cut). A german KRAUTCLASSIC......., this first Lp shows the band a bit straighter, harder, guitardominated and not so much jazz-orientated like the later works....................................................
