Description

EMI Angel Series stereo two disc set in gatefold jacket SAN 108-9.   Earliest gold label discs with Nipper and Angel logos in white, pressed in England.  Full libretto bound into the jacket.  Earliest issue of this great performance.

Mascagni, Cavalleria Rusticana, complete opera, with Victoria de los Angeles and Franco Corelli..  Side 4 has excerpts from other Mascagni operas.  Gabriele Santini conducts the Rome Opera Orchestra and Chorus.  See pics for complete cast and program details.
