Description

THIS IS NOT A REPRO OR A COPY !!!!SO LET ME FILL YOU IN ON THIS SIGNIFICANT PAPER ITEM!!!!!!!!! When EMI/Parlophone mailed out Demo Copies of forthcoming releases , for a few years they had some custom covers to make the discs stand out to reviewers and DJs. There are a handful of lucky collectors and indeed dealers who have The BEATLES Love me do DEMO 45, but how many have it in just a Parlophone sleeve AND NOT THIS "SPECIAL RUSH COPY"one!, This is not wishful fiction but Fact, check out record collector magazines for adverts by Beatles specialist dealers who often show it with Love me do inside! Also Mark Lewisohn's excellent Beatles sessions book which shows the press sheet which has the similar"printing". I extracted it from a Shane Fenton Demo 45(PARLOPHONE 45-R4951) Love me do is and was 45-R4949, recorded a matter of weeks earlier, CONVINCED????????????????????!!!!!!!! This gem comes from a collection of Demo etc 45'S, I have recently bought that belonged to a Thames TV producer of the 1960s who it would seem kept at random a selection of non hit singles for around forty years in a cupboard away from light and heat and indeed a turntable! No stupid, mysterious reserve, just a realistic starting price to reflect a "price to sell" that I would easily achieve in my 20 year established collectors shop with constantly changing stock, collectors and dealers travel the world to visit me. I am a main consultant to the record collector price guide and a regular broadcaster on BBC RADIO NORFOLK as the stations record phone in valuations expert. See my other rare 45s/LP's for auction, more to follow if I can bear to part with them! Postage is £1-50 recorded delivery OR if you prefer £4 SPECIAL DELIVERY UK outside UK likely to be the same but may be a little more if you want insurance. Paypal or cheque within 7 days but please allow cheque clearance time.My feedback of over 665 comments is worth reading! Good luck this could prove to be of interest to several of you!
