1971 A&M Records #SP 4254. Black & White A&M inner sleeve features catalogue releases on one side/"Ansel Adams" nature photo on the other

Emit's 1st (Self-titled LP) was originally released soon after McCartney had done his first solo record, playing all the parts and producing himself.  Emitt did the same, but many, myself included, feel that he did it better. McCartney's solo LPs have an off-hand charm that's intentional, but Emitt's albums are very polished works. Rhodes, fresh out of his hit group The Merry-Go-Round burns with talent.  Anyone who likes classic Beatles style power-pop done with melody, soul and grace will enjoy
