Description
This is a rare Emmett Miller and His Georgia Crackers 78 from my collection.
This 78 is by Emmett Miller and His Georgia Crackers.Okeh Electric label # 41438.
Songs are titled That's The Good Old Sunny South on one side and has God's River on the other side.
Emmett Millers back up band the Georgia Crackers were Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey along with Eddie Lang and Dan Fitch.
I also think it's one of his harder to find 78s as it came out during the depression and would be a great addition to an Emmitt Miller and his Georgia Crackers 78 collection
The Good Old Sunny South Side has numerous scratches /marks on it but plays nicely, the God's River side has less scratches and sounds good as well.
The Gods River side, hesitates to start playing but once its nudged on track it plays through nicely with no skips..
So all in all the record is a little beat up but plays good.
Feel free to ask any questions..
Thanks and good luck.
