4 MOSCHE DI VELLUTO GRIGIO (aka FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET) / COME UN MADRIGALE ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single. Music composed by ENNIO MORRICONE / played by BRUNO NICOLAI E LA SUA ORCHESTRA. Original Italian pressing on CINEVOX label (MDF 031), from 1972. Superb psych funk from the iconic giallo thriller directed by Dario Argento. 4 MOSCHE DI VELLUTO GRIGIO is the crazed funky theme heard over the opening credits with the film's spoof prog group in full-on rock mode. Heavy breakbeat B-boy style drums / funky hammond and fuzz distortions with manic shouts and screams. Great for DJs. Comped by Andy Votel for his Music In The Key Of Death mix. COME UN MADRIGALE is also superb. Trippy lounge with angelic scat vocal chorus and dream-like / spooky orchestrations. Demented horror movie sleeve artwork too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition with a few light scuffs and hairlines. Light surface noises (mostly to the gentle 'Come Un Madrigale' side but common for this release in general. The picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with minimal wear. Just a touch of creasing from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
