THE HILLS RUN RED - Soundtrack LP Acetate United Artists Records
Impossibly rare 1967 mono acetate for Ennio Morricone's "The Hills Run Red", incorrectly titled "A River Of Dollars" on the center labels. As far as I can tell this soundtrack was never commercially released at the time, only bootlegs exist. Comes in generic sleeve with taped on track listing.
Condition (sleeve/vinyl): VG+/VG -- record is shiny but has some surface scuffing on both sides. I did some careful needle drops and there were a few light ticks and some surface noise here and there but nothing too distracting. There are a couple tiny nicks in the edge of the disc, maybe 1mm each, (see last photo) but these do not affect playback at all as they are outside the playing area.
GRADING:
NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear -- a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
VG+ (very good plus) means the record has minor wear -- sleeve creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, vinyl shows cosmetic signs of handling
VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches but plays ok
VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy
G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
