Condizioni : la copertina protetta da una leggera laminatura su entrambi i lati è in grande stato, MINT- / vinile leggermente imbarcato. E' stata un'amara sorpresa quando quasi per caso ho notato la non perfetta parallelità fra piatto del giradischi e vinile anche perchè l'ascolto non subisce il minimo danno. Pochi segnetti insignificanti non condizionano il perfetto ascolto; grande stato, EX+

Conditions : the cover protected by a slight lamination on both sides is in great shape, MINT- / vinyl is slightly warped. It was a bitter surprise when almost by chance I noticed the non-perfect parallelism between the turntable plate and the vinyl also because the listening does not suffer the slightest damage. A few minor scuffs do not affect play at all, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : è subito necessario eliminare due errori che ho qualche volta riscontrato. Il primo riguarda i compositori e gli interpreti della musica. Sotto il nome Pulsar Music Ltd si nascondono sia i compositori (Pieranunzi e Chimenti) che i musicisti mentre il titolo dell'album è quello che leggiamo sui due lati dell'etichetta I Pulsar N. 1.  Erroneamente alcuni libri e/o siti specializzati in film e colonne sonore riportano come autore della colonna sonora Gianfranco Plenizio mentre in realtà il bravissimo musicista Friulano dirige l'orchestra. Basta guardare e leggere il fotogramma all'immagine  n° 4. Due grandi musicisti devoti al jazz in particolare il pianista Pieranunzi mentre il chitarrista Chimenti ha avuto anche esperienze nel rock e pop. L'album è infatti intriso di musica jazz ma non manifestamente sempre percettibile con facilità. Si cela nello spirito delle composizioni e si rende palese soltanto in alcuni brani o in passaggi più o meno brevi di altri. Ma l'album non manca durante il suo percorso d'improvvisazioni nella chitarra, nel pianoforte, nelle tastiere, nel sax, nella tromba o nel flauto, di ritmi sincopati, di assoli e di creatività. Film poliziottesco non dei peggiori e almeno in parte noir per la figura del "Gatto", il capo della banda dei banditi con un minimo di umanità tale da farlo diventare protagonista principale del film (è l'attore Claudio Cassinelli). Terreno fertile per musiche che riflettono violenza, angoscia, paura e dramma. Necessarie pertanto sonorità di rottura come quelle espresse dalla musica funk, dal variegato rock degli anni settanta, dal jazz. " Cat Theme " (a1) e " Blue Funk " (a2) hanno belle caratteristiche funky-jazz, la prima più distesa, la seconda più cattiva con belle improvvisazioni del flauto su un ritmo veloce condotto da organo e batteria. " Swinging Day " (b1) è caratterizzata dalle distorsioni della chitarra, dal suono dell'organo e da un notevole "drumming", " Subway " (a4) ha una ritmica indiavolita, assoli di tromba, improvvisazioni pianistiche e basso rombante, " High Tension " (b2) con Chimenti alla chitarra con distorsore, " Running " (b4) con buon pianoforte jazz e ritmo veloce guidato  da basso e batteria, " Six In " (a6) dall'ottimo impatto dinamico della sezione ritmica e raffinato pianoforte.

It lies in the spirit of the compositions and it is evident only in a few tracks or in some long or short passages. Anyway the album does not fail along its way of improvisations by guitar, piano, keyboards, sax, trumpet or flute, and features syncopated rhythms, solos and creativity.  A "poliziottesco" movie not among the worst, and at least partially a noir for the figure of "The Cat",  gang leader of robbers with a bit of humanity such that he becomes the main character of the film (the actor Claudio Cassinelli). Fertile ground for music  reflecting violence, distress, fear and drama. Therefore a need for shocking sonorities such as those expressed by funk, various rock sides from the seventies, jazz. " Cat Theme " (a1) and " Blue Funk " (a2) have nice features funky-jazz, the first is more relaxed, the second is more brutal with beautiful flute improvisations on a fast rhythm led by organ and drums. " Swinging Day " (b1) is characterized by guitar distortion, organ sound and an appreciable drumming, " Subway " (a4) has frenzied pace, trumpet solos, piano improvisations and powerful bass, " High Tension "(b2) with Chimenti on guitar and distortion pedal," Running " (b4) with good jazz piano and fast pace led by bass and drums," Six In "(a6) by the excellent dynamic impact of the rhythm section and a refined piano.
