Description

This really IS a mega-rare item. It is the 1961 E.P. by THE FLEE-REKKERS "THE FABULOUS FLEE-REKKERS" on the plum PYE label, cat# NEP 24141. It is, of course, a 1st pressing. The cover is VERY near Mint, with a small "bend" (not worth calling it a crease!) bottom left of front and very faint "ringwear" starting back cover. This is just about visible in the pics below. The labels are unblemished and sharp with minimal spindle-marking. The vinyl is at least Near Mint with only a few very light marks, doubtless caused by removal/replacement to the cover. The tracks are all instrumentals, three of them self-penned, with production by the legendary JOE MEEK, whose full-bodied production style is evident and fully justifies his (long-delayed) fame.
