Description
ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS LIVE AT THE LONDON MARQUEE CLUB 8/8/67 NOT TMOQ COLORED VINYL GREEN WAX GATEFOLD!
VERY rare release on the Bulldog label. The green vinyl (lighter in color than it appears in the photo) is in NEAR MINT condition. No marks of any kind--just beautuful. The gatefold cover is in VG++ condition with a little bit of rubbing wear on the back cover. Front cover is Near Mint. Only 1000 of these were made. This baby rarely come up for sale on eBay, and I really hate to sell it! But...
This version of the Animals rarely recorded live and truth be told, they rocked HARDER than the original group. Highlights include an almost 11- minute version of "Hey Gyp," followed by a frenzied "Gin House Blues." And, yes, the New Animals do "House of the Rising Sun." The tracks are as follows: Every Day (I Have the Blues), All Night Long, Tobacco Road, Yes, I Am Experienced, San Franciscan Nights, Good Times, Hey Gyp, Ginhouse Blues, When I Was Young, Paint it Black, House of the Rising Sun and So Long. Please note that the recorded sound is not up to major label quality.
Minimum bid is $24.99. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
