Please note this is a Record Store Day 2018 release. The Animals. What can one say about the Animals? Out of sight? That’s old. That they fly? They’ve been flying since they began. That they’re great. This record proves it. Well, if one were looking for things to say, one could say that everything is better about this album, especially the recording of vocals and drums. But, of course, the only real question is, how is Eric? Eric is, of course, in orbit (he’s also the lead vocalist, for those of you who aren’t Animals fans). The whole of side one is an uninterrupted symphony of R&B. Just listen to the two versions of the absurdly great “C. C. Rider”. On the other hand (also on the other side, side two) is most of their psychedelic material. Compared to the previous Animals albums, this just seems to pack a little more punch than any of the others with the possible exception of Animal Tracks. Jenkins’s drumming really makes a difference in the overall sound. The group seems freer now, especially on the uptempo material (check “Shake, Rattle And Roll”). And Burdon’s vocals seem to be constantly improving, which is a crucial point. I can think of nothing he has done previously to equal “Tobacco Road” or “When I Was Young.” In any event, the fact is that this album rocks. And when the Animals rock, no one can touch them. My one hope is that there is enough material in the can to put out another album as good as this one. INFO - Side 1: Tracks 1-3: 21 January 1967 live in Hamburg. Vinyl Records and their Sleeves are very easily damaged in the post, with our 13 years experience we take great care when packaging vinyl records, by opening and removing the inner sleeve (without touching the record) to try and avoid any problems.
***Although, if you would rather we did not carefully open one side of the PVC sleeve (if supplied), please contact us once the order has been placed, we cannot accept any responsibility for spine damage to the sleeve in transit if the record is not removed***

Should you receive any items that you did not order, or that prove to be faulty, you can return them to us by emailing to request our returns address within 14 days of delivery.
Damaged items: If the damage is limited to standard cases, please email us with details of the damaged cases and we can send replacements out to you. If the damage affects the product itself, the libretto or any non-standard packaging, please follow the instructions for faulty items within 14 days of receiving the delivery.
Unwanted Purchases: You may return your order by informing us of this by email up to 14 days after receiving the delivery. Goods must be returned to us unopened (factory sealed) or un-used and you must obtain a proof of postage receipt for the returned goods, the buyer is responsible for return costs.
Please note that we are unable offer an exchange service on unwanted items. If you wish to exchange your order, please return the item for a refund, and place an order for the alternate item. We are happy to refund unwanted items that are returned to us within 21 days after receiving the delivery.
