Description
The four 1980's studio albums from Eric Clapton on Duck Records. Great albums in my humble opinion. All in great shape. A little sticker damage to the front of Journeyman.
Also Deep Purple in Rock early UK repress.

Money and Cigarettes is the eighth solo studio album by Eric Clapton, recorded after his first rehabilitation from alcoholism. Produced by Clapton and Tom Dowd with, apart from Albert Lee, a new backing band of veteran session musicians including Donald "Duck" Dunn, Roger Hawkins, and Ry Cooder. The album was moderately successful commercially, reaching Top 20 chart positions in several countries. Critical reception was lukewarm.
Behind the Sun is the ninth solo studio album by Eric Clapton, released on 11 March 1985 by Duck Records / Warner Bros. Records. It is Clapton's first collaborative project with Phil Collins who co-produced the album and played on some of the tracks. While recording the album Clapton temporarily split with his wife.
August is the tenth solo studio album by Eric Clapton, released in 1986 by Duck Records/Warner Bros. Records. Described as a "hard R&B" album, it was primarily produced by Phil Collins, in association with longtime Clapton associate Tom Dowd.
Journeyman is the eleventh solo studio album by Eric Clapton. Heralded as a return to form for Clapton, who had struggled with alcohol addiction and recently found sobriety, the album has a 1980s electronic sound, but it also includes blues songs like "Before You Accuse Me", "Running on Faith", and "Hard Times." "Bad Love" was released as a single, reaching the No. 1 position on the Album Rock Chart in the United States, and being awarded a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1990. "Pretending" had also reached the No. 1 position on the Album Rock Chart the previous year, remaining at the top for five weeks ("Bad Love" had only stayed for three weeks).
"Deep Purple in Rock is the fourth studio album by English rock band Deep Purple, released on 5 June 1970. It was the first studio album recorded by the Mark II line-up of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice.
Work on In Rock began shortly after Gillan and Glover joined the band in June 1969, with rehearsals at Hanwell Community Centre. The music was intended to be loud and heavy, and accurately represent the group's live show. Recording took place at various studios around London in between extensive touring, during which time songs and arrangements were honed into shape.
In Rock was the band's breakthrough album in Europe and peaked at No. 4 in the UK, remaining in the charts for over a year. By contrast, it under-performed in the US, where the band's Mark I albums had been more successful. An accompanying single, "Black Night" reached No. 2 in the UK, becoming their highest charting single there. The album has continued to attract critical praise as a key early example of the hard rock and heavy metal genres."

The main difference from the very 1st press is the slight changes in the label layout: 1) The inscriptions (on the right side of the label) 'STEREO', 'SHVL 777' and '(SHVL.777A or B) 33 1/3' are located one above the other, but the gap between them is noticeably smaller (the same as this early 1970 repress); 2) The name of the group 'DEEP PURPLE' in the upper left section is placed even higher compared to this one; 3)There is a gap (at least twice as large as it was before) between the title 'DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK' and the song list in the middle label section. 4) Some copies (not all of them) have subtle difference around the EMI and Harvest logos on the front of the sleeve - an additional fine keyline box around the logos. 1st sleeve variant had a single bold line around the logos.
Other main identifiers are still similar to the 1st press:
- Laminated gatefold sleeve with 'Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.' (until about 1981) - Inner sleeve: the 'Harvest' advertising inner sleeve in most cases. However, plain EMI inner sleeve with 'Patent Nos. 1125555' text and 'Made In Great Britain' text near the bottom on 1 side is also valid; - Runouts: A2 / B1 (until about mid-1975); - The upper rim text begins with 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD.' (until about May 1974); - No 'EMI' logo on labels (until about June 1971); - The inscription 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' on labels is separated of the lower rim text and centered above the circular bottom line (until about May 1974); - Song listing in 3-lines for side A and in 4 lines for side B (until about the second half of 1972); - The Ⓟ icon (under the 'Side A/B' indicator on labels) is about a third smaller than the year '1970' to the right of it (until about December 1970 / January 1971).
