Ace1967 latin jazz LP from the big band leader Earl Coleman. The big band jazz fella had a long career, but from working with Charlie Parker in the 40s to his last set recorded in 1984 he remained pretty obscure. This 1967 set was his stab at a more latin sound, and is frankly awesome. Check the second track for a hip hop tempo intro with deep vocals that kicks off into a great latin groove after about three minutes - ace.
