Description

Up for auction is a nice early copy of the rare Eric Dolphy album Eric Dolphy At The Five Spot, Vol. 1, originally released in the U.S. on Prestige Records (7611) in 1961.
-Guaranteed early '60s vintage pressing -2nd State Blue Trident Prestige labels -VAN GELDER stamp in deadwax
-Paste-down cover -Heavy inflexible vinyl
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: If you don't want to spend $1,000 on an original NM copy, this record is a nice affordable alternative.  The sound quality is excellent, better than many contemporary reissue pressings.

Condition: Cover looks nice, generally colorful and clean.  Light rubbing wear top and bottom middle, and along the seams here and there.  No seam splits.  Back looks generally clean, bone white.  Number written in upper right corner (see photo).  Nice cover. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl looks beautiful, still has its original shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of inner sleeve a few times.  No marks around spindle holes.  Shows some faint shadows from inner sleeve, that's it.  Nice vinyl. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
