Description
1963 FM Records 3085, this is an original mono pressing - NOT a reissue - of the impossible to find Eric Dolphy LP "Conversations". Dolphy is joined on this 4 song date by Richard Davis, Clifford Jordan, Robert "Bobby" Hutcherson, Eddie Kahn, Woody Shaw Jr, Prince Lasha, Huey Simmons, and J.C. Moses. This pressing has the textured cover and the "deep groove" labels. Cover is EX/NM-, showing no splits or tears. There is some minor corner and edge rubbing, but nothing of note. Vinyl is shiny and clean EX/NM-, with no scratches or scuffs; there are a few minor hairlines and a few patches of "clouding", but nothing serious. Playback is strong throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. A very nice original of this scarce Dolphy album. Buyer pays $6.50 priority shipping in the US, $13 airmail overseas.
