ERIC DOLPHY:   PRESTIGE NEW JAZZ Records NJLP-8270 MONO (Mfd in New Jersey in the early 60's)   FAR CRY  -  MONO  -  Original Vinyl Album -  This is a Deep Groove, early pressing.  The Run Off Groove. has hand etched on it:  NJLP-(scratched off)-A, followed by a much smaller (and very hard to read) NJLP-8270-A;  there's also something else that looks like it might be a 33  and there's a machine stamped RVG.   The other side has hand etched NJLP-8270-B  8270B with a machine stamped RVG.  The Cover is in Fine Plus condition, almost Excellent (if not Excellent), with very light shelfwear.  I had a very difficult time getting the light right in order to get a good picture of it.   None of these do it justice.  No Ringwear, No Splits, No Writing.  No Bends.  No stains.  The Labels are clean on Both Sides with some spindle wear which you can see in the Pictures.  The Vinyl Record has one very light and small, silent "paper scuff".  It has its original gloss and looks clean and Almost New.  SIDE A:  MRS PARKER plays a very Strong VG+ & Much Better.  ODE TO CHARLIE plays VG++.  FAR CRY plays VG++/Almost New.  SIDE B:  MISS ANN plays a Strong VG+/VG++.  LEFT ALONE plays VG++ and Better.  TENDERLY plays a Strong VG+ & Much Better.  IT'S MAGIC plays  a Strong VG+ and much Better.   I'm trying to accurately grade  these Tracks and not overgrade anything;  I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves.  I've posted some audio clips from every Track on this LP, starting with SIDE A, Track 1 at:  www.gate.net/~rhanes/ericdolphylpfarcry.wma   -  If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP! I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
