Description
This is a fine copy of a RARE single by '80s artist Eric Landis. Based in the college town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Landis seems to have released just this one solo 45 on the local Ty-Dy Productions label. He also contributed a track to a 1987 local various artists LP with his group the Squires. The single presumably came out in the mid-'80s, since the track the a-side is parodying, Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?," was released in 1984. Concerning its scarcity, I find no reference to it anywhere online except Discogs, and I created that entry. If you want to check out the tracks, my YouTube videos of both sides are linked to the Discogs page. The disc is clean with a few superficial scrapes, and it plays with some light surface noise (EX). The record comes in a generic white sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
