THE NUTCRACKER (CASSE-NOISETTE)
**VERY RARE ORIGINAL STEREO (SXL.2092 / SXL.2093) 1959 UK DECCA GROOVED LABELS LP SET IN GATEFOLD BOOKLET COVER**
The set has been strictly graded and comes complete with both Decca Stereo polylined inner covers, this is a very clean example of a rare and wanted LP set.
The Condition (See Below)
The Cover / VG+ / A strictly graded example with still clean lamination with 8 page stapled booklet, there is some storage age ring wear with a few creases but no major faults and the cover still looks fine.
The Records
I would say the LP set was only played a few times, the spindle areas are superb, the discs are in really clean shape and are in nice condition with ZAL 4221-1E ZAL / 4424-1E / ZAL 4223-1E / ZAL 4222-1E matrix numbers. The LP's plays with great deep sound, there is only some surface sound you will get with vintage LPs on the ultra quite passages, this is NOT a CD!
Side 1, is graded Excellent condition, a super clean side with very light wear only, a wonderful gloss
Side 2, is graded at least Excellent condition.
Side 3, is graded Excellent- condition, there is just 1 ultra light surface mark under harsh light and on close inspection, this is hard to spot and have been strict here, it is non sounding for sure.
Side 4, is graded at least Excellent condition.
The Labels / EX+, all are in wonderful shape and are very like new as you will see by my scans.
I use the UK grading system E.G. Bad /Poor / Good (G) / VG / EX / MINT. We also use + and - if there are slight differences between the grades.
