ERNEST ANSERMET Weber overtures DECCA LP WB Stereo SXL 2112!
Original UK album with laminated front and back, comes with the original FFSS Decca paper/poly lined inner.
Released in 1959, on the DECCA label.
Catalogue number: SXL 2112.
Matrix numbers: 2E & 3D.
Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD/ EXCELLENT CONDITION (*Plays EXCELLENT)
Basically a clean flat sleeve with some small faults, displays a light corner knock on the top left hand side, which has left a light sleeve impression and some laminate lifting in the area.
Back sleeve bottom left hand corner has a small flip over edge corner piece missing. Sleeve has no seem splits, condition is VERY GOOD.
Original FFSS Decca paper/poly lined inner is clean with no seem splits and no large deep lined creases, condition is EXCELLENT.
Record labels are clean both sides, with minor spindle hole marks evident, showing hardly played.
Playing surfaces have an immaculate sheen, with no surface marks evident on the playing surfaces, however some fine line superficial scuffing is evident on the matrix areas, when viewed under a strong bright light, condition is EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT. *Both sides play EXCELLENT both sides, emits mainly a clean sound throughout with no loud background crackles/clicks. Does have some very low level background surface noise in some places, again mainly evident during the quieter passages.
