Description
ERROL BELLOT - Gimme (segues into the dub of Delroy Pinnock's Babylon Walls) / Gimme Version (S&G Records SG6) 12" - 1981
Very nicely presented ULTRA-rare ORANGE VINYL (with a few little black speckles and streaks) pressing of this S&G 12". It features Errol Bellot's Gimme, which segues into the H-E-A-V-Y dub of DELROY PINNOCK's awesome roots killer BABYLON WALLS, backed by a full-length dub of Gimme. Apparently, it is only on this issue that the dub of Babylon Walls appears - it did not even feature alongside Pinnock's vocal cut on the preceding S&G release (SG5). The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with a few light, superficial surface marks and very fine hairlines.
A-side: A tiny amount of intermittent surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with an occasional tiny / very small pop or click. Grade - EX
B-side: A tiny amount of intermittent surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with an occasional tiny / very small pop or click. Grade - EX
Labels: There are soundman markings on the A-side label (see scan), while the B-side label is pristine.
