This is the seldom seen 1959 MONO released version (LPM-1988) of the great Mexico born Juan Garcia Esquivel and his Orchestra of "Strings Aflame". Esquivel is often referred to as the king of style in in the 50s and early 60s opened for Frank Sinatra in Las Vegas on occasion. This rare album has 12 tracks of great music with a steady Latin beat.
The vinyl is in superb condition with some spindle marks but few other signs of past use. It rates an EX+ to NM as to condition. It comes with the original RCA Victor inner sleeve that has protected it so well for 55 years. The original RCA Victor inner sleeve has small split at bottom and wrinkling but very nice. One side of the inner has color art and brief descriptions of 43 other LPs of the day including releases by Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Witherspoon, Chet Atkins, and Elvis Presley. The outer jacket is a strange VG+ with an exotic dancer featured in the cover art. Only some very slight storage wear on cover and 1/6" split at soft corner at upper right keep this great jacket being graded higher.
A new quality clear poly-vinyl outer sleeve is included. For extra protection during shipment the vinyl is separated from outer jacket and both wrapped with ample bubble wrap and shipped in a heavy duty cardboard record mailer. There is never an additional charge for packing.
