ETHEL MERMAN AUTOGRAPHED “CALL ME MADAM” SOUNDTRACK LP w/COA!
In 1953, Decca Records released a 10” soundtrack LP of “Call Me Madam,” in which Ethel reprised her great Broadway triumph as the hostess-with-the-mostest. Here we have that LP, vinyl is in very good condition, signed on the cover by Ms. Merman in black pen (SEE PHOTO.). She signed for a then young fan who waited for her at the stage door of the Curran Theatre in San Francisco, where she was appearing in the touring production of another great triumph, “Gypsy.”
PLEASE NOTE: the top and bottom seams are beginning to split (SEE PHOTO) , not too surprising when you consider the LP is now oner 70 years old! The cover, however, has retained much of its original color and brightness. There is no sleeve in this LP.
This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
