Description
ON TO SOME GOOD JAZZ ITEMS!! This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1960 U.S. KING RECORDS MONO PRESSING OF THE 1960 LP titled 'Etta Jones Sings', featuring jazz vocalist Etta Jones with a stellar combo. It is King Records catalog number 707, original 19560 thick rigid vinyl deep groove black label pressing with crownless wide King logo and silver print. Personnel: Etta Jones-vocals / Jerome Richards- flute, tenor sax / Don Abney-piano & organ / Tommy Potter-bass / Bill Jennings, Skeeter Best-guitar / Bobby Donaldson-drums. Tracks: Sweethearts On Parade, You Call It Madness But I Call It Love, Mountain Greenery, Do't Worry 'Bout Me, Sposin, I Thought About You, I'm Gonna Lock My Hear And Throw Away The Key, Since I Fell For You, When I Fall In Love, White Cliffs Of Dover, People Will Say We're In Love. Condition of record is VG with some surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play, and one light surface scratch which can be felt and which will cause a few very light ticks - Overall this record is a real good player with some light scattered surface noise and the aforementioned light ticks. Both labels have some writing in black marker, labels have no other real problems. Condition of cover is conservatively VG-/VG with the top and bottom edges split for their entire length (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside) some light stains and contact wear, and some general wear and flaking along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no tears, writing, or stickers. This original 1960 mono LP would be a choice addition to any vocal jazz record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.50 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe EXCEPT FOR GERMANY is $14.50 - PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $11.50 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES. Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
