Description

DEMO DELIGHTS - Part of my collection that I'm offering over the next few weeks!

Please make sure you're happy with the shipping costs before bidding. Due to past claims for non delivery, I will now only ship by secure "Signed For" service in line with eBay recommended policy with tracking number provided for peace of mind. Please be mindful of this when leaving feedback. Thank you for your understanding.

During the 50's and early 60's, the UK London label released demo copies of their catalogue as single sided discs. Released as catalogue # HLA 8685, we have on offer a single sided 1958 demo copy from THE EVERLY BROTHERS with a scarce and difficult to find 45, namely; "BIRD DOG" with stamped matrix # 45 MSK-2798-1C.

This copy remains visually in excellent condition but actually plays closer to mint minus with the absolute minimum of crackle on the lead-in and run-off groove with very light sleeve rubs and lightest of surface scuffs. The label is extremely clean for its age with minimal ring wear and unusually, without any written or factory stamped annotations. Paired with a plain buff paper sleeve (see picture scans).

From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check my other listings for more great sounds.

The discs will be shipped in a stiffened card outer by Royal Mail Large Letter First Class "Signed For" service only at a cost of £2.99 or, overseas by "Signed for" service at the costs indicated. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss.

Postage discounts available for multiple purchases. Request total and await invoice before making payment.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT BUT ONLY AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
