Description

EVIE SANDS
IT MAKES ME LAUGH

Evie Sands cut several great singles for Cameo Records, but they were mostly lost in a sea of under promotion and poor distribution. This is not only the last of her singles with Cameo, it's also the last ever single for Cameo Records. Just as this was hitting the streets, the company was floundering and getting ready to close down forever. This was released in April 1968 and the topside is a great song called "Billy Sunshine." On the flipside is the ballad "Makes Me Laugh" which has found quite a place in the hearts of Northern Soul collectors.

This literally was one of the very last singles from Cameo Records and didn’t really have much of a chance to make it before the whole label was shut down.
