Description

Here is an unusual vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: The Doors album "Waiting For The Sun", released in 1968 by Elektra EKS 74024 Stereo. This is a 1st pressing with heavy vinyl, GOLD 1968 labels, envelope style cover and printed inner sleeve. This one is unusual because the cover is MONO (EKL) but has a "Stereo" sticker on it. This is a transitional piece when Elektra was using up old mono covers for their new Stereo discs. A great conversation piece, this scarce collectable is in well preserved condition. Music features great hit songs "Hello I Love You", "Five To One", "Love Street", "Summer's Almost Gone" and more, this one plays great!
The vinyl rates strong EX, is super clean and super glossy, just a few faint sleeve marks and a couple of small light marks, nothing heavy, looks minimally played! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! Labels are clean with only a few spindle marks.   The cover rates EX, is super clean and bright with great colors and no ring wear, seams solid and binder edge readable, no tape, top seam has a couple small rubs, corners have tiny bumps/rubs, looks minimally handled!  Paper inner sleeve clean and bright, no splits.
