EX~ Duke Ellington ~Hi-Fi Ellington Uptown~ 1956~CL 830~1ST PRESS~A TRAIN~LP.

NOTE ON 1ST PRESS.  The original "Uptown" came out in 1951. In 1956 they pressed this as "HI-FI UPTOWN" with the new "360" Hemispheric Sound technology and added the "Controversial  Suite" on side 2.  From the deadwax #' Side 1 is a 2F copy but Side 2 is a 1D copy.

Discogs notes "Hi-Fi Uptown" as a 1st pressing.

LP is EXCELLENT,  cover is Near mint  (see pics). Note close up pics of labels.  Minor scuffs from paper sleeve do not effect play.
