Here is a fantastically preserved beautiful original 1st press Beatles record album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles' debut Capitol album, "The Beatles Second album", released on April 10th 1964 by Capitol Records ST-2080. This is a scarce early STEREO 1st pressing, Most of the 1964 first pressings were sold in the Mono format as stereo record players were still pretty costly at that time. The record buyer also had to shell out an extra dollar for the stereo version. The rear cover has a "#6" on bottom corner and George Martin producer credits, has the red Capitol inner sleeve. . Great play list includes Chuck Berry's "Roll over Beethoven", Smokey Robinson's "You really got a hold on me", Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally", Barrett Strong's "Money", the Marvelettes' "Please Mr. Postman" the Beatles smash hits "She loves you", "You can't do that", "I call your name" & More!
The vinyl grades easily EX, Breathtaking! super clean and super glossy, near pristine looking!. A few light faint marks that won't effect play, PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, has bright deep clear sound!, Outstanding! . A very enjoyable listen! The beautiful black color band stereo labels are in fantastic shape and feature an early press misprint with no running time for "Long Tall Sally & "I call your name" No real spindle wear to note! The original red printed photo inner sleeve is crisp & clean.
The cover rates EX, a breathtaking beauty! front slick is clean and crisp with no ring wear, binder edge EX and readable, Both bottom & Top seam are EX & solid, barely noticeable tiny discoloration spot on left front bottom corner. No signatures or writing. Beautiful jacket. (see all 12 pictures)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in it's paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
