Forest - Forest - Harvest SHVL760 - Excellent Condition LP
This auction is for an original UK copy of the self-titled first album by progressive folk group Forest, released on the Harvest record label in 1969 and now very hard to find.
Vinyl is in Excellent condition. Under strong light there are some very slight visible scuff marks where the vinyl has been removed from the inner sleeve. These in no way affect the audio quality of this LP.
Audio is superb with no surface noise and no skips, jumps, pops . There are some very quiet passages on this LP all of which can be heard perfectly.
Catalogue Nos. - This is a stereo LP released on the Harvest Record Label with the catalogue number SHVL 760. Unusually the label on Side Two of the record also contains the catalogue number SHVL770 - which was actually the catalogue number for the first Barclay James Harvest album released the following year in June 1970.
Matrices - The Matrix in the run out groove on Side One of the LP is SHVL 760 A - 1G. The Matrix in the run out groove on Side Two of the LP is SHVL 760 B - 1G.
Labels are both in Excellent condition with no spindle wear and no tears. .
THE VINYL IS IN CRISP AND BRIGHT, RETAINING ITS ORIGINAL SHEEN, . THE RECORD TESTS BEAUTIFULLY, WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMATIC LOSS IN SOUND QUALITY, OR DETERIORATION IN AURAL PERFORMANCE, AND CAN BE ENJOYED WITHOUT DISTURBANCE. IF ANY, ALL FAULTS ARE ACCEPTABLE, VERY MINOR AND NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
