Description

Up for auction is this mega-rare (we've never seen another copy up for sale!) House of Dark Shadows radio spot 7". Pressed in 1970, and used for radio DJ spot promotions for the first Dark Shadows movie, the spots were surrounded by locked grooves so they didn't spill into each other live on the radio. There are 6 different spots, which is a lot for these promotional records, making this an extra special object. It also comes with the original MGM company record sleeve. Some spots feature snippets of songs, others screams and spooky narration. All are over-the-top and fun, and generally use the movie's tagline "come see how the vampires do it!"
