The Beatles
Abbey Road
Very 1st Press with the misaligned Apple cover
&
Without 'Her Majesty'

**LOVELY EARLY 1st pressing**
143g
*Professionally Cleaned*

Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed."

Vinyl:
QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 143g VINYL
EX+/NMint-!
 Lovely FLAT & SHINY vinyl.
She only carries one or two incredibly light marks-however, I did not find these to have any impact on audio playback as the audio was wonderfully rich, clear and glorious throughout.
After I cleaned her on my Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record cleaner I had the utter joy of listening to her-all the way through....LOUDLY ;)
Wonderfully rich and exactly as The Beatles wanted you to hear them, back in '69!
The Bass was deep and the highs were lovely and clear.
As close to ZERO background noise as you could hope to find!!-nothing even noticable inbetween tracks or in the run-ins...WOW!
All I can say and being ultra critical, is a couple of light pops at the start of Oh Darling and some light and insignificant background crackle very, VERY rarely-which goes as quickly as it arrives, with most sellers probably not even stating this as it really is insignificant.

*AMAZING*

CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS ON MY FOCUS ONE DECK WITH A  LIGHT, PRECISION SMK ARM WITH AN AUDIO TECHNICA STYLUS FITTED.

Labels:
EX+.
There are just a handful of very light spindle marks, seen when angled towards the light and looking hard for them!...With NO central hole wear to speak of!
There is some very light and inoffensive tape residue to side 2-see if you can spot it in the detailed images provided.
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED
NO "Sold in the UK..." text.
Outer text begins: "Apple Records all rights.."
"Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant.
This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label.
Has the '33 1/3' to the extreem left.
The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label.
NO WRITING.
WOULD FRAME WELL.

Cover:
EX+!
The cover of this LP is the rarer cover; with the alignment of the Apple Logo on the back NOT being inline with the text.
The spine remains lovely and strong, as well as legible.
There is only around 6 very small crescents of spidering to the front laminate..Nothing at all to worry about as I am having to angle this lovely shiny cover to enable me to see these.
The back laminate has just 3 tiny crescents...Certainly nothing at all to worry about.

*WOULD FRAME INCREDIBLY WELL*
The corners remain strong with just VERY light rubbing.
NO SPLITS-NO WRITING.

The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is OUT OF LINE with the text.
*FRAME THIS BEAUTY*

Inner:
NMint!
ORIGINAL APPLE inner, with the "IMPORTANT NOTICE" from Apple printed to each side.
This one is in TOP condition.
"MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" die-cut, white inner.
There isn't even ANY discolouration to the paper!
SUPERB.
NO SPLITS.
NO WRITING.
Certainly done her job in keeping this very early slab of vinyl in tip-top condition!

THIS IS AN, EXCELLENT,  COMPLETE & VERY COLLECTABLE PIECE WITH THE RARER COVER, VERY 1ST PRESSING VINYL AND ORIGINAL INNER IN NEAR MINT CONDITION..
SOUNDS SUPERB AND LOOKS MAGICAL TOO.
*A COMPLETE PACKAGE FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR*
