Here is a RARE well cared for album from my collection offered up for auction: A 1968 LP ALBUM The Rolling Stones "Beggars Banquet" in EXCELLENT condition! Released in 1968 on London records PS-539 STEREO. This original 1st pressing landed the boys in another lawsuit as the song "Prodigal son"is credited to Jagger & Richards but was actually written by Reverend Wilkins. The gatefold cover has "Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards" printed on the rear cover. Presses were stopped early so very few have the songwriting error. The label also misidentifies the songwriters as Jagger & Richards.Songs include: Sympathy for the devil, Street fightin' man, Salt of the earth,and more!! Jacket rates EX, is clean, has great color, great edges, binder edge readable, no signatures, no stains, a beautiful cover! The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy & clean, a few faint & light marks,nothing heavy. Record has been PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! The deep blue and silver London labels are in EX condition, no signatures, no wear, one small sticker remnant or shadow on one side. Includes the original London printed inner sleeve in EX condition.
