This Lp was released on the 10th July1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

I have just given her a gentle professional vacumm clean and then listened to her and was incredibly happy with the sound reproduction.
SUPERB example of a Gramophone 1970 press.
When playing side 2, I noiced a visual wobble-but this had zero affect on playback and wasn't noticable at all when playing side 1.

REMAINS WONDERFULLY STRONG
SUPERB legible spine.
The white back card is still WHITE, with just very light discoloration.
The top seam is slightly rubbed in a 2.5cm but not all the way through at all.
There is a small price sticker to the top lewft corner-easily removed if you wanted to-but I have left it there for pure nostalgia :)
NO SPLITS OR TEARS.
 Non-flipback.
