Description
About This Record. Please see my detailed comments about the Cover/Record/Labels below.
This is an original rarely spotted UK Verve Records 45rpm by The Mothers of Invention (Frank Zappa) featuring "It Can't Happen Here" b/w "How could I be such a Fool" on Verve VS-545 from 1966. This was their very first 45rpm and is really hard to find in the USA or the UK, and the labels and title on this 45rpm are different than on the USA version.
PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who bought them think of them and our experience. I offer a full refund on all my records, including shipping both ways in case for some strange reason you might be unhappy with your purchase.
Cover Condition: Plain white /maroon "Verve" sleeve from the UK with small writing at top in pencil (so should be removable), and song titles written in black pen.
Vinyl Condition: Excellent Minus (EX-) / better 45rpm vinyl single. Keeper copy. with intact center stating "sold in U.K. subject to Resale price conditions See price Lists"
Labels. Near Mint (NM) / EX- labels. One side has loss of gloss from tear or wear near "Verve Records" at the top of the "It Can't Happen Here" side labels. Please see photos of all labels.
Inserts: Comes cleaned (see photo) in a new plain-paper type sleeve after professional cleaning (see below).
Packaging. I place the vinyl in a new sleeve after cleaning it on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; I combine shipping but the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human.. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please add sales tax!
