The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks. This version was the transitional release from the traditional Parlophone yellow label to the two boxed EMI label. This run was incredibly short and few were pressed with the 1 Box EMI.

There is JUST a few very faint and SMALL marks evident. I was lucky enough in having the joy of playing her through and they weren't noticable at all....I am being INCREDIBLY CRITICAL.
Incredibly well looked after! Nothing to affect play....Superb sound. Even the run-ins are VERY VERY quiet.....A simple JOY to listen too.
**THE BEST EXAMPLE I HAVE COME ACROSS IN YEARS**

Labels:

No  "SOLD IN THE U.K." central text. "THE GRAMAPHONE CO.." rim text. Only a couple very light spindle marks, barely visible.
"Doctor Robert" text to side two label.
You would be hard pushed to find better examples of this increasingly rare 1 Box EMI label.
These labels were very shortly lived-they came and went in 1969, replaced by the more familiar 2 box EMI.

Sleeve:

The rarer flipback version, but without Stereo to the front top right corner.

The front cover is in Excellent condition, lovely and bright..The record cover reads "Dr Robert."
 The corners are STRONG & SHARP.
 The spine is UN-CRUSHED and the laminate to the front has only around 3 tiny 1cm spidering crescents, which are barely perceptible. GORGEOUS!


Inner:

Original EMI advertising inner-advertising the Sgt Pepper album, as well as Pink Floyds 1st album too, as well as many more.
NO splits or tears...Just a bit of fading, but I think that is the use of a kind of sepia ink, so think it is the same as when bought. 

(I really felt like I should be handling this with those white gloves librarians have for antique books!!!)
