With The Beatles
A TRUE 1st Press
EX
-TOP-Condition!

This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

Catalogue number: PMC 1206

Matrix Numbers Side 1: XEX 447-1N
Matrix Numbers Side 2: XEX 448-1N

Vinyl:
HEAVY QUALITY 158g

EX-. There are just light marks visible to the vinyl, but they DO NOT affect play at all. I have just listened to the record with no problem at all-lovely quiet run-ins too. Nice heavy original vinyl. GREAT SOUND!!
Just a gentle proffessional clean t get rid of the dust and she'll sound EVEN BETTER!
Gorgeous sheen.
FLAT as the day she was born.
*REALLY IS A KEEPER*

Labels: EX. Lovely and clear text, but with spindle wear evident to the hole. There is also a name in black biro-so not too easy to spot on both labels.
"K" tax code, side 2.
Unusually the other M and T are not visible, but would've been there as the 'K' is stamped proudly at the 6 O'clock position-which would normally indicate the 'M' to be at the 9 O'clock position and the 'T' at the 3 O'clcok position.
(This is quite unusual as this tax code was only introduced on the 1st of Jan 1963 and ran only untill July 1963-This Lp was released in November 1963-when the KT tax code was introduced...VERY UNUSUAL)

Outer text "The Parlophone Co."
No "Sold In" text.
"Jobete." credit for Money on side 2.
"Really Gotta Hold On Me" listing for track 3, side 2.
These labels were quickly corrected and recalled, making this an increasingly rare copy.

Cover: EX. Larger Mono in top right corner.
She is lovely and bright in colour.
IT IS ALSO THE RARER LIGHTER VERSION OF THIS PICTURE-WITH The Boys' polo neck tops much more visible.
Some very light and small patches of discolouration near the opening on the back card-again, not really much to worry about at all.
Slight and minimal 1cm tear to the front opening...again, not worth worrying about.
There is a little name to the back.
Very VERY strong  and clear spine.
UNCRUSHED
Great STRONG AND SHARP corners.
"You Really Gotta Hold On Me" misprint track listing.

Inner: Original "Use Emitex" in VG+. condition-just some creasing.
NO RIPS/TEARS OR WRITING
It cetainly has done it's job in keeping the record in wonderful condition!

ALL IN ALL THIS REALLY IS A TOP-NOTCH KEEPER OF AN INCREASINGLY HARD TO FIND ALBUM WITH THE MIS-PRINTING OF BOTH THE COVER AND LABEL
