Description
Here is a RARE soundtrack album from my collection offered up for sale: A beautiful original 1st pressing of the motion picture "American Graffiti", has the COOL GATEFOLD cover and custom printed inner sleeve insert with movie info/pictures, cool! Released 1973 on MCA Records 8001 Stereo, has 1973 style black with rainbow labels, is in VERY well cared for condition! This album features the classic music of Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, Big Bopper,Del Shannon,The Crests, The Fleetwoods, Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers, Fats Domino, The Beach Boys, The Cleftones, The Diamonds, The Clovers AND sounds of the movie like the voice of "The Wolfman", cool! HARD TO FIND this pressing and a cool 50's time capsule album!
The records are super clean and super glossy, one is pristine and grades NEAR MINT, the other grades EX, has only a couple very light marks, looks minimally played. Records have been PLAY TESTED, and play with excellent sound quality! The labels have no signs of spindle wear! The custom inner sleeve is clean and bright, the black MCA one is EX, no splits!
The "top load" style gatefold cover rates NEAR MINT, is super clean and bright with almost no ringwear, edges and corners are excellent with with minimal wear, no splits, no tape, no stains, no signatures or writing, no cut outs or drill holes, looks minimally handled! (see all photos).
