Exceptionally nice copy of the Tamla label's first #1 hit on the R&B charts; was #2 Pop.  Reportedly, Marvin Gaye (drums) and co-writer and producer Berry Gordy (piano) are also on the record.  This is the hit take with L-1 in the trail-off wax.  Flip side is the very nice soul ballad, written by Robinson, "Who's Lovin' You."
