EXCELLENT condition!!! Marie McDonald's much sought-after debut "THE BODY SINGS" LP on RCA Victor,1957. Marie McDonald entered the competitive jungles of Hollywood as a rival of intent to Marilyn Monroe. Labelled "The Body" because of her staggeringly awesome physical attributes, Marie released this album to prove she could sing as well. And she could too. This is a splendid album of easy listening jazz-pop. Regretfully, those "jungles" of Hollywood were too much for the spirit of Marie, who took her own life, leaving this album as a major collector's item for its music, but mainly for its exceedingly lovely cover. This cover here is as MINT as you can get. The front of the cover is superb! The back side of the cover is almost as beautiful, but has a small age spot on the right side, and a tiny price written in pen that can indeed be removed with an eraser, though I will not do that. The bottom edge has the start of a clean split, but nothing to get concerned about. Trust me. This is a BEAUTY! The vinyl is very clean, but has one surface scuff about an inch or so long, but it does not disturb the playing obtrusively. By far one of the best I have seen anywhere at anytime.Listen to the lavish instrumentation while gazing upon the cover's lovely and enagaging lost beauty!
