Description

The Holy Grail of LA Punk Collectibles!

Up for auction is an incredibly well-preserved original 1979 copy of the Eyes "TAQN" b/w "Topological Lies" 7-inch single, released on the iconic Dangerhouse Records (IZE-45).

Condition Details:

  • Vinyl: Near Mint (NM). The wax is incredibly clean with a high gloss. It appears to have been played rarely, if ever. Labels are crisp with no spindle wear.

  • Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+). The original fold-over paper sleeve is in great shape with minor age-toning. No major tears or seam splits.

The "Dave Brown" Connection: This specific copy features unique handwritten contact information on the interior of the sleeve for Dave Brown (the band’s organist) and Dangerhouse Records. The handwriting appears period-correct and suggests this may have been a personal copy or a promotional copy handled by the band. This adds a layer of incredible punk rock history to an already rare record.

Tracklist:

  1. TAQN

  2. Topological Lies

Credits:

  • Joe Ramirez (Guitar, Vocals)

  • Jimmy Leach (Bass)

  • Joe Nanini (Drums - later of Wall of Voodoo)

  • David Brown (Organ)

Ships professionally in a dedicated 7" mailer with the vinyl removed from the sleeve to prevent seam splits.
