At the time of this writing, the Seller had another Eagles title for sale on Ebay.
The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in NM condition.
Monarch Pressing Plant (MON appears on the labels after the catalog number).
The original vinyl record pressings (for sale here) of The Long Run (Elektra/Asylum catalog no. 5E-508) had text engraved in the run-out groove of each side, continuing an in-joke trend the band had started with their 1975 album One of These Nights (see photos):
Side one: "Never let your monster lay down"
Side two: "From the Polack who sailed north" (may be a reference to the producer of the album Bill Szymczyk).
The cover is in VG+ condition, with very minimal shelf wear. The spine is in excellent condition.It has the original custom inner sleeve, which has no seam splits. It is a glossy paper sleeve (black on one side, grey on the other) that features a photo of Bill Szymczyk and album credits.

(Wikipedia Excerpts) The Long Run is the sixth studio album by American rock group the Eagles. It was released in 1979, on Asylum in the US and the UK. This was the first Eagles album to feature Timothy B. Schmit, who had replaced founding member Randy Meisner, and the last full studio album to feature Don Felder before his termination from the band in 2001.This was the band's final studio album for Asylum Records. It also turned out to be their last studio album as the Eagles disbanded in 1980, until 2007's Long Road Out of Eden after the band had reformed in 1994.
Three singles were released from the album, "Heartache Tonight", "The Long Run", and "I Can't Tell You Why". "Heartache Tonight" reached No. 1 on the singles chart and won a Grammy Award. The album was certified 7× Platinum by the RIAA and has sold more than eight million copies in the US.

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.

Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option. Seller will insure packages valued above $30. Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Warping could occur if vinyl records are exposed to heat and direct sunlight, so please make adequate arrangements to safely receive your packages. If Buyer prefers a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days.
