Eagles  "The Long Run"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Asylum 5E-508  from 1979.    This is a promo copy.    The custom labels have 'Promotional Use Only' printed right under the title.    The front cover has a promo sticker and the title on the front is in white lettering.     It was produced by Bill Szymczyk.   The cover desing is by Kosh.

The hits include : 'Heartache Tonight" # 1 on 10/13/79, 'The Long Run' # 8 on 12/8/79, and "I Can't Tell You Why' # 8 on 2/1/80.

The message in the inner groove on side one is 'Never Let You Monster Lay Down" and on side two "From The Polack Who Sailed North".  

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M

The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a custom inner sleeve. 

The songs are : The Long Run, I Can't Tell You Why, In The City, The Disco Strangler, King Of Hollywood, Heartache Tonight, Those Shoes, Teenage Jail, The Greeks Don't Like No Freaks, and The Sad Cafe.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 8 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 24 ounces ( 1 pound, 8 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
