Artist: Earl Moseley~~~ Title: Facing the Sun~~~ Pressing: Original Private Press on T-Bone Records~~~ Grade: Vinyl~ M- (was sealed) Cover~ M-~~~~ Blurb: Great early 70’s funky jazz private press from Houston’s 9th ward. The heat starts on the second side with a funky track called “Low Down”. It intensifies with the next track called “ Fly In the Soup” (?!). A scorching rare groove masterpiece with wacked out synth, lovely horn lines, and wicked wawa licks, it was Comped by Luv ‘n Haight way back in the day. The rest of the wax is good soul jazz that’s worth a listen. Not your average private press………~~~~ Payment: Please get me payment within ten days of the auction’s close. Vg+ : still a good LP, though there is an audible defect, either a mark or background noise. Vg: wax has many marks that cause clicks or background noise.
