Description
For ale is a great copy of the 1964 Meet the Beatles, by Capitol Records recorded in London in mono. The record condition is incredible and looks hardly played. The pictures really don't do it justice (man it's hard to take pictures a shiny record without reflections!). No scratches, marks on the record or rainbow label. The original blue and black inner sleeve is in very good condition with one exception a small tear in the top corner (see picture for detail). The cover is in very good condition with very modest signs of age, but no stains, marking or tears. I am not a record expert by no means but know first printings and later variants are important to collectors. Here is what I can say besides the incredible condition there is only one reference to BMI (1st song I want to hold your hand). There is no reference to George Martin. References Made in USA Factories, Scranton, PA -Los Angeles, Calf. These attributes suggest a very early variant. As with all my sales I accept returns if not satisfied.
