Description
Condition: of Record: NM Condition: of Album Cover: NM- 1 st U.S. pressing of the Early Steppenwolf, Recorded Live at The Matrix in San Francisco, May 14, 1967. Recorded in 1972 by Dunhill/ABC Records. DS 50060 Stereo. Still has the original paper liner in great condition. Black Dunhill record label. Hand etched numbers in the deadwax. There is extremely minor wear at the corners and on the edges (see photo). On the front it appears to shows very little ring or surface wear. However, near the lower left hand corner about a 1/2" in either way from the corner there is an approx. 1/16" hole puched or pushed all the way through the cover and liner, which may have been done as an inventory control thing (see photo). On the backside cover there appears slightly a little more ring or surface wear than the front cover (see photo). Also, on the bottom left hand corner there is an approx. 3/8" x 3/8" corner ding. This record album uses the heavier gauge vinyl and heavier paper weight on the cover.
