Description
This auction is for Ebony Records 78rpm #1007 "Birmingham Late Hours" Rhythm Dance Instrumental / "You're Too Bad" Vocal Rhythm Dance Blues by Birmingham Junior and His Lover Boys. Also listed as "Birmingham Junior and his Harmonica Band" on the label. Ebony was a small Chicago label. This record is unplayed store stock that I bought about 15 years ago, from the stock of a record store that had been open since the 1940s. This is an original pressing from the 1950s. I would grade this as Excellent or better - I doubt it has ever been played and the vinyl is shiny. I'll describe any minor problems: LABEL: on the "You're Too Bad" side the label around the spindle hole is a little pushed up from excess vinyl. RECORD: some light scuffs, a very light imperfection in the wax across the record on the You're Too Bad side - there are a few very light, small scuff marks that are probably from taking it out of the sleeve. A HARD-TO-FIND SMALL CHICAGO LABEL! Postage is $4.00. Check out my other auctions for several other 78rpm records on the Ebony label, all unused store stock. E-mail me if you have any questions.
