Grading (Sleeve / Vinyl):
Near Mint – The record itself is in almost new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items - lyric sheet, booklet, etc, are in near perfect condition.
Excellent – The record shows some sign of having been played but there is little deterioration in sound quality. There may be some small surface marks that have a little impact on the sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good – The record has obviously been played many times and displays some deterioration in sound quality / noticeable surface marks and scratches. There may be normal wear and tear on the cover (and additional items) including marks and crease without major defects.
( + or – added to the above demonstrate some small variations to the descriptions as detailed)
Any grading below this including Good or Poor will have more significant defects to the condition and sound quality.
